To fully engage, though, you need to create a free member account. Tell us a little about yourself. Then, you can respond to discussions or suggest a topic that’s relevant to you and your teaching.
You will hear about everything new I publish going forward through email notifications. However, there is an ever-increasing archive of past articles. Such as…
- Answers to questions posed by teachers like you,
- Resources I find and review for readers, and
- Key terms or concepts I try to clarify for our community.
Many of the articles I publish are supported by healthy discussions in the forums by teachers of English learners who have a lot in common with you.
In addition to the support you can receive from our discussion forums and a steady stream of new input from my articles, I review and share resources to make your teaching life easier or help you improve your practice. Sometimes, I review a book or applicable curriculum. Other times, I interview experts in fields related to teaching English learners.
In the future, you will find how-to videos where I sit down beside you (virtually!) and show how I would use a resource or strategy to meet ELs’ academic or linguistic needs. There may even be live or online events you wouldn’t hear about otherwise.
